Online High School Courses

 

Online Summer School Options:
 
The following options will be offered for high school credit. 
  • All quizzes and tests will be taken at Hudson High School. 
  • Students must attend one of the orientations prior to their session. 
  • A session 2 student may NOT attend a session 1 orientation.
 
Required Orientation:
 
Session 1: June 10th or June 13th from 8:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M.
                  Session 2: July 8th or July 11th from 8:00 A.M.-9:00 A.M
 
  • Students taking an on-line option course must attend this orientation. 
  • On-line sessions must be completed within the specified time frame. It can be completed earlier than the time lines. 
  • A fully licensed teacher will be monitoring students’ progress during the on-line sessions.
 
 
Health (One-Half Credit)
 
Description:      This  online course is designed to aide students’ life style choices and health management. It is designed to help students develop the ability needed to make good health decisions.

Cost:                        $170.00 Hudson and Compact Schools; $180.00 Out of Compact Schools Classes:

U.S. Government (One-Half Credit)
 
Description:       This online course is designed to allow students entering senior year an opportunity to satisfy the government credit and clear their schedule for upper level courses offered at the high school. Students who failed Government may also be eligible.

Session 2: July 11-August 5
Cost:                        $170.00 Hudson and Compact Schools; $180.00 Out of Compact Schools Classes

Geometry (One Credit)
 
Description:       This online course may be taken by students who have completed 8th grade to accelerate to the next level. Teacher recommendation is required for acceleration.
Dates:                      June 13-August 5
Cost:                        $300.00 Hudson and Compact Schools; $325.00 Out of Compact Schools Classes

Algebra (One Credit)
 
Description:       This online course cannot be taken to accelerate to the next level. This course is designed to satisfy requirements for those students repeating Algebra.
Dates:                      June 13– August 5
Cost:                        $300.00 Hudson and Compact Schools; $325.00 Out of Compact Schools Classes
