I have been part of the Hudson Schools for eleven years! I have taught 2nd grade and was a reading specialist for grades 1-2 in Brunswick. After coming to Hudson, I taught 1st grade for nine years, and now I am a 4th grade teacher at East Woods. I am excited to have your child this year! It is also fun to have some of my former students! I am a graduate of John Carroll University. I have my Masters Degree from Kent State University in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Language Arts.
I reside in Aurora with my husband Dave and our two boys.
Rees is seven and Zach is five. They will be starting 2nd grade and Kindergarten! Yay! We are all in school!
My goal as a fourth grade teacher is to instill confidence in my students to take risks and be successful learners and citizens. I want my students to feel comfortable in their learning and social interactions with each other. Most of all, I want us all to HAVE FUN!! I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help guide your child through his/her fourth grade year!
