Welcome to Ms. Spetrino's World
Special Education Teacher

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year and the Johns/Haines/Jones/Spetrino Team.  I graduated Wittenberg University with a BA Degree in Regular and Special Education in 1983.  I received my Master's Degree in Supervision from John Carroll University in 1997 and my Administrative Certification in 2000.  I have spent my entire teaching career in special education.  I taught for one year in Southern Ohio, four years in the Cleveland Heights - University Heights City Schools, and fifteen years in the South Euclid - Lyndhurst City Schools.  I started teaching in Hudson at East Woods in 2005.  Outside of school I am a CASA/GAL Volunteer,  Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Lidem, for the Summit County Juvenile Courts.  In this capacity I serve as a voice for children that have been removed from their homes and are in foster care. I also volunteer for a week each summer at Camp Quality, a week long residential camp for children with cancer that "allows children with cancer to be children again".
