HUDSON RUGBY CLUB 2012 SEASON OVERVIEW We are very excited to present the 2012 Hudson Rugby Club Season to you!!
· Attached you will find the complete 2012 Master Schedule and HCER & Rugby Ohio registration information for both Girls and Boys Teams—First Practice is Thursday January 12, 2012 7:30PM at Hudson HS Gym.
· A recruitment flyer to give to all potential new players.
· Details on an exciting spring trip to the North Carolina Youth Ruggerfest March 9-11, 2012
Highlights to look forward to for the 2012 Season:
· Boys and Girls will be fielding two sides(all players will play!!!) and will be competing in a full league season and be eligible for the State Tournaments!!
· We will kick the season off hosting a USA Rugby Coach Development Camp on Saturday & Sunday 1/-7-8, 2012 at Hudson Middle School. Over 40 coaches from throughout the state are scheduled to attend! We need player and parent volunteers to help out.
o Players plan to be at the MS by 9:45AM both days and will participate in drills and learn a great deal about technique and rugby strategy.
o Parents can lend a hand with set-up and registration. Contact me via email for details about volunteering.
· We will be traveling and playing in a great tournament in Charlotte March 9-11, to escape the NE Ohio weather and get matches in and prepare for the league season!!
· Hudson will be hosting the Boys State Semi-Final Championship Matches at Lavelli Field on Saturday May 26, 2012—The Goal is to also be playing in this match!!!!
· We have an outstanding group of coaches lined up for the season and are Ready for some great Rugby!!
· Parents Plan on attending the Thursday February 2, information session at the High School to see how you can get more involved, or email me in advance if you want to volunteer now!!
