Welcome Students and Parents!!

This web page has been designed to provide both students and parents helpful information regarding Resource Geometry.

Textbook:  Textbooks will be kept in class.  Students may check one out with teacher permission at any time.  The textbook is available on line at www.geomconcepts.com.  Click on the far right book and then ENTER.  Click on the on line student edition.  The access code is FCFAED06CD.

Homework:  Students will be given a monthly calendar that will specific assignments and expectations.  These calendars can also be found on this site.  Click on the calendar link at the right.  Homework is assigned daily.  Each assignment is worth 3 points.  To earn all points, all problems must be completed and ALL work must be shown.  Late assignments will be accepted for reduced points!!

Quizzes/Tests:  An assessment will be given at least once a week.  Tests will be given at the end of a chapter.  Students are strongly encouraged to make corrections on the missed problems to learn from their mistakes and earn points back on the assessment.  All corrections need to be done on a separate piece of paper and turned in with the assessment.

Mini Projects:  Hands-on mini projects are assigned with each chapter and are due the day of a test.  The mini projects give students a chance to show their understanding of the geometry concepts in a hands-on, real life situation.

ProgressBook:  Assignments are posted on ProgressBook weekly.  Grades are updated daily.  Students and parents are strongly encouraged to check grades and progress.
