What is a Parent Mentor?

he parent mentor serves as the support person and an information resource to assist parents with the special education process. The goal is to assist parents and teachers in establishing a cooperative working relationship to enable your child to reach his/her fullest potential.

Parent Information Forms
The Parent Mentor, in conjunction with the district Special Education Committee has developed forms that parents can use to let teachers know important information about their child. Please click on either the
elementary or middle school - high school form (requires Acrobat Reader). Print them out and send them in to your child's classroom teacher.
