Welcome to my web site.  My name is Danielle Richardson and I teach third grade at McDowell Elementary School in Hudson, Ohio.

Let me share a little bit about myself!  I have been teaching now for seventeen years and I have loved every minute of it! What I enjoy most about teaching is the children and their love of learning.  It has inspired me throughout my career to engage the students in hands-on learning by allowing the students to discover new experiences every day.  I value the students' interests and focus my lessons based upon their learning needs.  My classroom is a nurturing environment with structure to promote student success.  I have found this helps the children to take risks, work hard, and achieve their best.

I strive to send home monthly news letters to inform families of the exciting new activities and lessons the students have been working on.  I look forward to a wonderful and exciting year!
