Required Writing in the Hudson City Schools

         Based on the Ohio Academic Content Standards for English/Language Arts, the district has developed a scope and sequence chart for writing required in grades K-8.  Every student is assessed in one type of writing during each quarter of the school year with the exception of kindergarten which completes two assessments during the school year. The expectation is that students will be proficient in three of the four types of writing each year.
