Angela Marie Pace OTR\L

Hello!
My name is Angela Marie Pace and I have been an Occupational Therapist at Hudson City Schools for the past 7 years. This is my 8th year working with the Preschoolers. I also work with the 2nd graders who have special needs at Ellsworth. I have also worked at Hudson High School. Previously, I worked as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland Ohio for 13 ½ years. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Cleveland State University and an Associate of Arts Degree from Cuyahoga Community College. I did enjoy a brief professional career in dance. I obtained Certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment in the area of pediatrics, and I specialize in Sensory Processing Disorders. I am a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and I have been lucky to have made numerous TV appearances discussing the benefits of infant massage. I continue to practice pediatric craniosacral therapy. I participated in research in the NICU and I assisted with obtaining normative data on the TIMP (Test of Infant Motor Performance). I received 1999’s Outstanding Clinician Award from the Cleveland District of The Ohio Occupational Therapy Association. I have had the pleasure of lecturing at professional conferences and have been a guest speaker at Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, and Notre Dame College. I participated in implementing the “Getting It Write Program” for 2 summers at University Hospitals in Cleveland to assist children with their manuscript and cursive writing skills to help with written communication skills.
