Welcome to Mr. Mummey's Room
My name is Mark Mummey. I will be your child's 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year. My room (210) is located on the second floor at the far end of the hallway. Mrs. Raeder, my team teaching partner, is located across the hall in room 207. I have been teaching 4th grade in the Hudson City Schools since 1990.
My educational background is:
*MEd in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University-1990
*BS in Business Marketing from the University of Dayton-1987
*Kettering Fairmont West High School in Kettering, OH-1983
I have three sons: John (18-Kent State), Daniel (16- junior-Hudson), and David (14-freshman- Hudson).
I have coached football at Nordonia High School and Hudson Middle School and Girls' Varsity Track at Hudson High School. I am currently the 4th Grade Social Studies Chairperson here at East Woods.
