Hello! My name is Mrs. Cindy Miller. I am honored to share your children during this school year. It will be exciting to watch your children grow academically, socially and emotionally.
I have taught pre-school, third, fourth and fifth grades. I received my undergraduate degree from Kent State University; receiving a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education. I went on to get my Master's degree in education from Marygrove College.
My teaching goals for your children are first, to instill a love of learning in a nuturing classroom. Secondly, I will be encouraging your children to take risks with their thinking. Finally, modeling respect and acceptance for classmates will be expected. The decisions I make in planning and teaching will be guided by what is best for the children.
My family consists of my husband, Mike and my two grown children, Matt and Liz. The family is rounded out by two lovable mutts. I enjoy gardening, music and most recently attempting golf.
