Mrs. McDowell

    Hello! My name is Kristyn McDowell and I teach first grade at Evamere Elementary School. I received my Early Childhood Education Degree from Bowling Green State University and my Masters Degree in Reading from Kent State University. This is my seventh year teaching at Evamere.

    Growing up in Hudson, I also attended Evamere as a child (back then it was kindergarten- second grade). I feel very privileged to teach at my old elementary school!  My husband, Brooks, and I are both graduates of the Hudson schools. We have one daughter, Grace, who is two. We are loving parenthood and watching Grace grow each day.  We also have one dog, Macy, who we rescued from an animal shelter. We are very lucky to have her!
