Welcome to our G-3 Web page!

Hi!  I'm Sandy Gordon.   Kindergarten is one of my favorite places in the world to be.  It is a privilege and an awesome responsibility to shape the foundational learning that children acquire in their first experience of "real school".   I have been lucky enough to always be a Kindergarten teacher:

• In Texas, before my 3 children were born.
• In Chicago, when my children and I were all in the same school!
• And now in Hudson, for the last 18 years right here in G-3!

I enjoy learning as much as teaching ~ my B.S. is from Texas Christian University, my Masters in Early Childhood is from Kent State and the reading endorsement I recently completed is also from KSU.

Our G-3 kindergarten is a community where we all work together to learn, while having fun and helping each other grow.  We celebrate each other's successes.  Reading, writing and math are embedded in all of our work, each day.  One of our students recently said, "I wish other schools would teach their kids to be kind, like you do here in G-3!"  That, too, is an important aspect of "what we learn in kindergarten"!

When I'm not teaching, I love traveling ...  reading books ...  exploring new places with Mr. Gordon ...  eating "out" ...  visiting my "Texas family" and playing with my grandchildren, Catherine and James!
