Welcome to Kathleen Dickinson's Website

Hello! My name is Kathleen Dickinson. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from St. John College of Cleveland and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University. In addition, I have taken many classes to keep up to date in current research and educational practices. I am a strong believer in life long learning, not only in the educational field but in many other areas of interest. I have taught grades one through four during my teaching career.

I believe that every child is unique, each with special gifts. By focusing on their strengths and working to improve areas of weaknesses, my goal is that each child will progress successfully and be personally involved in setting goals for the year. Since responsibility is so important, I hold students accountable for their work. The learning environment in my classroom is welcoming and risk free and embraces different learning styles.

My husband and I lived in Hudson for 23 years but we recently moved to Norhfield. Our two children are Hudson graduates. We are blessed with two sets of identical twin granddaughters! Besides spending lots of time with them,  I enjoy gardening, hiking, cooking and reading.
