Welcome to Accelerated Geometry.

We will be covering all 12 chapters in the textbook this year. 

Here are some details for you about how you will be assessed:

Homework:

• Homework: Homework is given every day and is worth 20% of your grade. You are responsible for reading the section and answering the assigned problems. All work must be shown in order to receive credit. You will have time to check your homework every day at the beginning of class. Questions will be answered during this time. I encourage you to work together on problems you may not understand.   Even if you don't understand something you MUST attempt to answer it. 
• Each homework is checked on a 2 point scale.  If your homework is compelete with all work shown you will earn 2 points.  If you homework is incomplete or missing you will have an opportunity to turn it in one day late for 1 point.  After that, you will receive a zero.

Quizzes and Tests:

• Quizzes are worth 30% of your grade and are given every 2-4 lessons.
• Tests are worth 50% of your grade and are given at the end of each chapter.

Projects:

• You will be assigned projects in many of the chapters.  These will fall under either the quiz or test catagory depending on how many points they are worth. 
• You will always be given at least one week to work on projects.
