Welcome to Mrs. Carey's Home Page
After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Cleveland State University, I began my teaching career at Marycrest High School in Independence. I taught English for several years, and then took some time off to spend with my three children.
After returning to teaching, I worked in Special Education at several school districts before coming to Evamere in 2002. I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education (focus on Reading and Literacy) from Walden University. I have been teaching at East Woods since 2003.
