Welcome to Mrs. Blue's Home Page

Welcome back!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and plenty of time to spend with their families.  The lighthouse photo is from a family trip we took to Chicago in June.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students interests and strengths and am fortunate to be teaching on 6 Respect with four wonderful colleagues; Mrs. MacMillan, Mr. Fejes, Mrs.Kantin, and Mrs. Saucier.  In addition to teaching, I serve on the Ohio Department of Education's Mathematics Rangefinding Committee as well as teach graduate level mathematics education courses for teachers through Miami University.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics from Kent State University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Akron with licensure as an elementary, middle school, and high school principal.
