Following are the procedures for calling our elementary attendance line.  These procedures are designed to protect our students.  If we cannot account for the student's absence, we will contact the local law enforcement agency as a safety measure.  Therefore, it is important these procedures be followed.

Elementary Absence Call-in Procedure:

1.    Anytime a child is going to be absent or late arriving at school, call 330-653-1300.  This line is open 24 hours everyday.  Please make every effort to call by 8:00 AM, though you may call anytime.

2.    Instructions will be given to press #2 to report an absence and then:
    "Press 1" for Evamere students.
    "Press 2" for Ellsworth Hill students.
    "Press 3" for McDowell students.
    "Press 4" for East Woods students.

3.    When you reach the building line you will be asked for:
    a.   Child's name
    b.   Parent's name
    c.   Teacher's name
    d.   Date or dates of absence
    e.   Brief reason for the absence
Kindergarten absences called in after 10:00 a.m. should be reported directly to Evamere by calling 330-653-1227.

Requests for make-up work cannot be made on the elementary attendance line.
