Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – starts June 14

Practice begins Monday, August 9 for 7^th and 8^th grade teams

7^th grade practice – 3:30-5:30 p.m. ----- 8^th grade practice 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Equipment Distribution – Friday, August 13 at the Field House

8^th grade – 8:00 a.m. / 7^th grade – 9:00 a.m.

Tryouts – August 9, 10, (11th if necessary) at HUDSON HIGH SCHOOL

7^th Grade – 8:00-10:00 a.m.

8^th Grade - 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

CROSS COUNTRY

Boys and Girls in 7^th and 8^th grade

Practice begins Thursday, August 12 – 9:00 a.m. at the Middle School

Athletes should wear comfortable, proper-fitting running shoes and bring water.

FIELD HOCKEY

Girls 7^th and 8^th grade teams - Tryouts - August 16, 17, 18

9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. @ Laflin Field – HMS

Practices will be held at East Woods School from 4:00- 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, August 23

SOCCER

Girls Soccer – Combined 7^th and 8^th grade team

Tryouts will be held on August 10 & 11 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Practice begins August 12 and will be held weekdays

10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. –3:00 p.m. until school begins.

Boys Soccer – “A” / “B” teams

Tryouts August 16, 17, 18 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Middle School

requires all athletes to have a current physical on file
in the HMS Athletic Office in order to tryout, practice or play a sport.
OHSAA Pre-Participation Physical forms are available
at the HMS Athletic Office or the HMS Main Office
or can be downloaded from the HCS website or OHSAA.org

Ohio High School Athletic Association and the
Northeast Ohio Conference.
The member schools in our N.O.C. Middle School division are:
Cuyahoga Falls (Bolich & Roberts), Garfield Heights,
Hudson, Mayfield, Nordonia, Solon,
South Euclid (Memorial), Stow (Kimpton)
and Twinsburg (Chamberlin).

LEAGUE ADMISSION FEES
2009-10

Admission to Regular-Season Northeast Ohio Conference Middle School athletic events
$2.00 for adults/senior citizens
$1.00 for school-aged students

Admission for HOME regular-season contests in the following sports
will be charged:
Volleyball - Basketball (Boys and Girls)- Wrestling - Track
There will be no admission charge at Hudson for
regular-season "open field" events in
cross country, football, soccer, field hockey,
girls lacrosse

Please note that some schools may have admission policies that differ from ours due to their own facility or staffing issues - please be prepared to pay the admission fee at all league contests.

Admission prices for tournament events may vary -
league or Booster Passes are NOT valid for tournament entry.
