Hudson Middle School Athletics

SPRING PARENT ATHLETICS INFORMATION MEETING
THURSDAY, MARCH 8 - 7:00 p.m.
HHS AUDITORIUM

Meeting is mandatory for all parents and their 7th and 8th grade students
who are interested in participating in Hudson Middle School Athletics this spring.  During this meeting we will discuss interscholastic athletics opportunities at Hudson Middle School,
OHSAA, league and school rules pertaining to athletics as well as academic eligibility, required paperwork, etc. and answer questions you may have concerning your child's participation on our school-sponsored teams.

Hudson is a member of the
Ohio High School Athletic Association and the
Northeast Ohio Conference.
The member schools in our N.O.C. Middle School division are:
Cuyahoga Falls (Bolich & Roberts), Garfield Heights,
Hudson, Mayfield, Solon,
South Euclid (Memorial), Stow (Kimpton)
and Twinsburg (Chamberlin).

All HUDSON athletics schedules are available
through Schedule Star at www.highschoolsports.net
You may also sign-up on-line to receive email,
voice mail or text messages
when changes occur in the schedule.

located at the top right of the page

To access individual team schedules
for the entire season,
click the "schedule of events" link
at the top right of the page
and then choose the "pick sport" button.

LEAGUE ADMISSION FEES
2011-12

Admission to Regular-Season Northeast Ohio Conference
Middle School athletic events

 $2.00 for adults/senior citizens 
$1.00 for school-aged students

 Admission for HOME regular-season contests in the following sports will be charged:
Volleyball - Basketball (Boys and Girls) - Football - Soccer (Boys and Girls "On Scott Malson Field") - Girls Lacrosse            - Wrestling
There will be no admission charge at Hudson for
regular-season "open field" events in
Cross country and Field hockey

Please note that some schools may have admission policies that differ from ours due to their own facility or staffing issues - please be prepared to pay the admission fee at all league contests.

  Admission prices for tournament events may vary -
league or Booster Passes are NOT valid for tournament entry.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association
requires all athletes to have a current physical on file
in the HMS Athletic Office in order to tryout, practice or play a sport.
OHSAA Pre-Participation Physical forms are available
at the HMS Athletic Office or the HMS Main Office
or can be downloaded from the HCS website or OHSAA.org

**Please note that the PARTICIPATION FEE 
for ATHLETICS at HMS for the 2011-12 school year
is $200 per student / per sport ($1200 annual family cap)
Fees may be paid at the Athletics Office or Main Office at HMS
