Graduation Requirements

MINIMUM GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASS OF 2010

Twenty-one credits (21) which must include the following:

English 4 credits ½ Literature required senior year
Mathematics 3 credits
Social Studies 3 credits Must include 1 U. S. History/1/2 U. S. Government & 1 of World History
Science 3 credits Biology plus one of: Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics or Chem. Comm. Plus 1 additional course
Physical Education ¾ credit
Health ½ credit
Visual/Performing/Applied Arts ½ credit
Computer Science ½ credit
Additional Courses 5 ¾ credits
Total: 21 Credits

REQUIRED STUDENT LOAD: Each student must carry a minimum of six classes per semester and earn a minimum of 5 ½ credits per year. Students will need to carry more than minimum credits to meet college recommendations. Seniors may carry 5 classes per semester.
