First Grade Arrival and Dismissal
  1. At arrival and dismissal times, all cars must enter the south drive, the one closest to Rt. 303. 
     
  2. The drop off area for cars in the morning is by the door that faces the football stadium.  There is supervision there from 8:55-9:10.  If you plan to accompany your child into the building, please park in the lot so that the drop off can be used by individuals who choose to remain in their cars.

  3. If you plan to pick up your child in the afternoon, please send a written note to the classroom teacher.  If we do not have the change in writing, your child will go home as regularly scheduled.  Pull up to the parent pickup sign which is posted in the south drive and wait for our staff member to signal you to the pickup door.  The line forms on the west side of North Hayden, therefore it is necessary to enter North Hayden by Hudson-Aurora road.  Allowing left turns into the parent pickup line at the Evamere driveway blocks the busses and eventually causes gridlock.

  4. If you plan to have your child take a different bus home, please send two notes to school; one for the bus driver and one for the classroom teacher.  If we do not have the change in writing, your child will go home as regularly scheduled.
