For Parents of Potential 2012-2013 Kindergarten Students:

On February 29, 2012, Hudson Schools administrators, Evamere Principal Andrew Wilson and some of our kindergarten teachers presented the all-day kindergarten program, along with information about the continuing half-day kindergarten program. To update you with the most recent information, we are posting sample schedules of the All-day Kindergarten Program and the Half-Day Kindergarten program. We have also developed a Frequently Asked Questions and Answers document from the meeting. If you have any additional questions about the full-day or half-day program, please don’t hesitate to contact Evamere at 330-653-1226.

News from our Health Clinic:  Head lice are a universal problem and very common among elementary school age children. Parents should observe their child for signs of head lice throughout the school year (itchy scalp, redness at the nape of the neck and/or above ears, live lice, or nits-small greyish white specks which are attached like glue to the hair shaft) and treat appropriately as necessary. It is important that parents notify the school if your child contracts head lice so that we can monitor and reduce its potential spread. Students should be checked by the health clinic staff when students return to school after treatment. Please remind your children not to share personal items such as hats, combs, brushes, ponytail holders, headbands etc. Feel free to call the school clinic with any other questions or concerns.

Evamere sends out a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to all of our wonderful VIP's!  Our parent volunteers have logged over 3651.5 hours of volunteer work since school began.  Thank you so very much for helping us make Evamere such a sweet school!
