|September 12th||Hudson Named One of the 100 Best Communities for Young People for Third Year in a Row|
For the third year in a row, Hudson has been named one of America's Promise Alliance's "100 Best Communities for Young People. This annual competition, presented by ING, recognizes communities that prioritize youth education and well-being. Hudson has been selected three consecutive years in a row for providing quality education, community service programs and youth health initiatives. Hudson Schools, Hudson Community First, the City of Hudson and many Hudson groups and organizations can take great pride in making this community a great place for kids.
All communities entering the 100 Best competition completed a rigorous application where they provided details on how their existing programs and initiatives help deliver the Five Promises: caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, effective education, and opportunities to help others.
