District Announces Soft Launch of its New Website!

The Hudson City School District invites all parents to visit the new Hudson City School District website beginning today, May 28. The new web address is . You will need to type the address into your browser to view the website at this time.  By the end of the week, we anticipate that all major search engines, such as Google, Bing, etc. will be able to find the new site instead of the old one.

This soft launch of the site will introduce you to the functions and the features of the site while content is still being added to various areas of the site, including teacher pages. To assist you, we have created the Hudson City School District Website Guide to General Features and Functions.

Starting on Thursday, May 29, all website visitors will be automatically directed to the new site. Any content needed on the “old” site will be accessible on the “new” site, including MyPayments Plus, HAC, and HCER. The official launch of the site is August 20, 2014. At that time, full conversion to the new site will be complete.

Please familiarize yourself with the site by using the Website Guide to help explain the features and functions. In addition, each building-level homepage, under FEATURED NEWS, contains a summary of website features.

We would also like to direct your attention to the “V” video icon located in the top banner of the site! We are proud to begin our soft launch with the introduction of videos about our schools. HHS will debut their video soon! Our students and staff deserve the credit for each script, with special thanks going to Jenni Kotlar, our videographer. Jenni is a 2013 graduate of the University of Akron and is embarking on a new career in producing video documentaries.
