The Board of Education unanimously approved an all-day, every day, tuition-based Kindergarten program to begin in the fall of 2012. Tuition is expected to be $3,400 for the year. In addition to the all-day program, the district will continue to offer half-day Kindergarten. The all-day program will be cost neutral to the District. Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year begins Tuesday, February 21 and continues through February 24. Registration packets can be picked up at Evamere Elementary from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The District will hold a parent meeting for anyone interested in learning more about the all day program. The meeting date and time will be announced in the near future.

Completed registration packets for Kindergarten must be returned to the Evamere Elementary Main Office during the following registration times:

Wednesday, March 7 or Thursday, March 8, 2012. The hours on both days are 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.; or 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Children are welcome to accompany their parents to visit the school and meet the office staff; however, it is not required for them to attend.

A child must be five years old by September 30, 2012 to qualify for Kindergarten.
