Summer is about a month away, and students and adults alike are already filling up their calendars for the next few months with sports, vacations and many other fun activities. One more thing they ought to include in their schedule some fantastic, live music. Luckily for any of these concert-seekers, Blossom Music Center will be featuring a variety of acts all summer long.
One of the more highly anticipated events is the Country Megatour, which features all of the big names on any given country radio station. By purchasing your own megaticket you can take part in the all this summer fun.
Megatickets were going for $260 lately, and as of press tie, were on the verge of selling out. By purchasing one, patrons gain access to five separate concerts all taking place on different nights throughout the summer. Each concert contains opening acts, special guests and a headlining act.
The Blossom portion of this nationwide country music tour kicks off on June 1, when Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker perform with special guest Thompson Square. The next night is June 15 when the acts include Brad Paisley with special guest The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery. Rascal Flatts with special guests Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge all perform on June 29. On July 13 Toby Keith will play with special guest Brantley Gilbert. And finally Jason Aldean with special guest Luke Bryan are scheduled to perform Sept. 7. This killer line-up ensures a fun time for everyone attending.
Taylor Martz, a senior at Hudson High School, is one of the many country music fans who will be attending the megatour this summer.
She bought her megaticket online through websites like ticketmaster and livenation. Martz says she is already looking forward to a summer full of great music, as some of her favorite artists will be performing at the concerts she is attending.
“It’s tough to choose, but the concerts I’m looking forward to seeing the most are the Lady Antebellum concert and the Luke Bryan concert. They’re two of my favorites!” says Martz.
Martz has been a fan of country music since she became a high school freshman. In her years since she began to listen to country music, she has attended numerous concerts, including Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and more. Among the vast selection of country songs being played today, Martz managed to determine some of her favorites at the moment.
“My favorite country song of all time is ‘You Look Good in My Shirt’ by Keith Urban, but he won’t be performing at all this summer. Brad Paisley’s song ‘Then’ is my intended wedding song, and I’ll get to hear that live. And my two current favorites are ‘Springsteen’ by Eric Church, who unfortunately won’t be there, and ‘Even if it Breaks Your Heart’ by Eli Young Band who will be there!” commented Martz.

As a dedicated fan of country music with clear anticipation for the upcoming months packed with fun, it was no surprise that Martz stated, “I would entirely recommend that everyone interested picks up their own megaticket because if you’re a true country fan, this a way to see some big names for the least
