Over the past five years, the Hudson Schools has received between $56 and $58 million in revenue annually. At the same time, the district began reducing expenditures by implementing a 13% reduction in workforce, instituting an aggressive energy management program and using competitive bidding processes for transportation and healthcare benefits. Since 2007, nearly $13 million has been reduced from district expenditures.
